Team GodolphinROYCROFT / CUMMINGS
Arguably two of the most famous names in racing and equestrian have joined forces to see if they can add yet another title to their extraordinary careers.
Pryde’s EasiFeed has been a proud Australian family business for almost thirty years. Based in Gunnedah, Pryde’s is the only facility of its type producing extruded cubes, extruded sweet feeds and pellets on three separate production lines. Family, quality and service arethe three pillars and foundations on which Pryde’s have built their business.
About the team
Roycroft is an Australian equestrian legend whose career has gone the distance. In 1987, she won the Rome Grand Prix and was the first woman and the first Australian to do so. She has been a member of three Olympic and World Championship teams. Now Roycroft works as a celebrated riding and show jumping instructor, both in Australia and overseas. In 2000, she received an Australian Sports Medal.
Cummings hails from iconic horse racing stock. The grandson of the legendary Bart Cummings is now carving out his own unique identity in Australian racing. In mid 2017, he became the head trainer for Godolphin in Australia. Last season the Cummings stable trained a remarkable 71 winners.
Jump Off Horses
Magic Hurricane (Magic)
If there was an overachiever amongst the Godolphin horses in Jump Off, the title would go to Magic Hurricane. Not the easiest horse under saddle, he can be spooky and has even managed to unseat VIcki Roycroft a couple of times in the training process but he is talented. Magic Hurricane can be a bit of a know it all but once you get through his hard headedness, he is a really lovely horse to ride. There’s no doubt Vicki will have fun with this boisterous gelding – lucky he has an extremely careful jumping technique which makes him well worth the effort.

March 2010 by HURRICANE RUN (IRE) from CLOSE REGARDS (IRE)
Last race March 2017
A lot was expected of this chestnut gelding by the Godolphin Stable but his track form never matched his quality breeding. An extremely laid back horse, he won his first race and then it’s almost like he decided ‘what is the point of all this galloping fast stuff?’ and has been chilling out ever since. Inner Circle was the first horse selected by Team Roycroft/Cummings with Vicki Roycroft quickly identifying him as an extremely talented and natural jumper. He’s a lovely horse to ride and jump and, at only five years of age, he has a bright future in the show jumping arena.

September 2012 by STREET CRY (IRE) from CAMARILLA
Last race March 2016
Stryker Rose (Stryker)
The only mare in Jump Off, it’s quite fitting that she finds herself being trained by the only female rider. Together, they make a dangerous combination. Stryker Rose is a lovely bay mare who is an absolute delight to have around the stable and just wants everyone to love her. She has been nicknamed Pepé Le Pew by Vicki Roycroft for her enthusiastic jumping technique which sees her fling herself off the ground with great enthusiasm! She’s a fast learner in the arena and her eagerness to impress might be just what Team Roycroft/Cummings need to win Jump Off.
